Did you know…

1 in 4 people will experience some kind of mental health challenge in the course of a year. Whether it’s you, or someone you’re supporting, please know that you’re not alone and there are people out there who can help.

Seeking practical support is an amazing step and something that holds no shame. If you would like help in doing this, please get in touch or reach out to a friend. Here are some recommendations of where to go for practical support.

Contacting your GP is a great first place to start when looking for help. They will be able to assess both your emotional and physical health needs, and what combination of treatment and support you might benefit from. If you're not yet registered, find your local GP on the NHS website. If you are unsure about how to talk to your GP, here is some great advice on how to do so.
